Affordable Connectivity Program

Eligible households can receive a discount of $30 / month toward broadband service.
What is the ACP?
The ACP helps households afford broadband Internet service.

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a long-term, $14 billion program to help ensure we can afford the Internet connections we need for work, school, and home. The goal of the program is to ensure that every American has access to reliable and affordable high-speed Internet.

The ACP provides a discount of up to $30 per month towards broadband service for eligible households. Only one monthly service discount can be claimed per household.

Experts estimate that up to 48 million households in the country qualify for the ACP.

Am I Eligible?
You could be eligible for the ACP if you meet one of the following criteria:
  • Your households income is at or below twice the federal poverty level (for example, $55,500/year for a family of four, $27,180/year for an individual).

  • A member of your household is approved for the benefits of a free or reduced-price school lunch or breakfast program.
